1. The Core Service

PaidAttention.me is a paid messaging gateway:

  • For Senders: We charge a fee to deliver a message notification to a Recipient.
  • For Recipients: We provide a dashboard to view messages and earn funds for replying.

2. User Expectations

2.1 Recipient Obligations

  • Recipients must provide a substantive response to paid submissions
  • Recipients should clearly communicate what the fee covers
  • Recipients may not guarantee acceptance or favorable treatment
  • Recipients should respond within the stated timeframe (7 days default)

2.2 Sender Understanding

  • Payment does not guarantee acceptance of your pitch/submission
  • Payment covers the Recipient's time reviewing your submission
  • You are paying for attention and feedback, not a "yes"

2.3 User Conduct

  • Prohibited Content: Harassment, hate speech, illegal solicitations, and abusive language are strictly prohibited.
  • Termination: We reserve the right to ban any user (Sender or Recipient) for violating these terms. In the event of a ban, pending funds may be frozen or refunded at the Platform's discretion.

3. Financial Terms

3.1 Fees

  • Recipient Fee: The amount set by the Recipient for their attention.
  • Platform Fee: A service fee (20% of the Recipient Fee) added on top of the transaction.
  • Total Price: The Recipient Fee + Platform Fee, paid upfront by the Sender.

3.2 The 7-Day Refund Guarantee

Funds are held securely upon payment:

  • Successful Transaction: If the Recipient replies via the Platform within 168 hours (7 days), the Recipient Fee is released to their balance.
  • No Message Response: If the Recipient does not reply within 168 hours, the Recipient Fee is automatically refunded to the Sender.
  • Non-Refundable Fees: The Platform Fee is non-refundable in all cases, as it covers transaction processing and platform usage costs.

3.3 Payouts & Unclaimed Funds

  • Withdrawals: Recipients may have pending earnings from responses without linking a bank account. To withdraw funds, a valid bank account must be linked via Stripe Connect.
  • Forfeiture of Unclaimed Funds: To prevent indefinite liability, any accrued funds that remain unclaimed for more than 12 months without a linked withdrawal method may be forfeited to the Platform to cover account maintenance costs.

4. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between users should be resolved directly. PaidAttention.me may provide transaction records but does not mediate content disputes. For platform-related issues, contact our support team.

5. Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of their message content. By using the platform, users grant PaidAttention.me a limited license to transmit and display messages as necessary for platform operation.

6. Liability and Disclaimers

PaidAttention.me provides the platform "as-is" without warranties. We are not responsible for the content or quality of messages exchanged between users. Our liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for the specific transaction in question.
